Hi, I am Fran. I’ve been lovingly designing and creating websites since 1997 when Wordpress was not even a twinkle in Matt Mullenweg’s eye.

I was born in London, England but I found myself transported to Charlotte, North Carolina some fifteen years ago on an exchange program. I now live in the adorably picturesque, and rather English looking, college town of Davidson, NC with my husband, and i-contact web design partner, Cliff. We have an eleven year old daughter and two dogs – Buddy the Lab, and Daisy, a Beagle Chihuahua mix.

There is so much to having a successful web site or blog, but the most important thing is building everything on a solid foundation. Over the years I have come to realize that websites are often one of three categories: designed beautifully, technically impressive or effective sales tools. It has always been interesting to me that so few sites encompass all three aspects. I use over a decade’s worth of Internet marketing, design and development experience to create and build a web presence using those three building blocks.

Most days you will find me working at my home office in Davidson, or you will likely bump into me at my other office, Summit Coffee on Main Street. If you ever get the chance to pop in to Summit, their chai latte has the perfect balance of sweetness, spice and delightfully frothy milk…
